Financially challenged continues

Several things may occur in case the gap between the filthy and the financially challenged continues (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ). For instance, the US may experience what Germany is currently undergoing (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ). They are faced with “child poverty”, as well as, “stagnant wages” (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ).

Since the “gap between the rich and the poor” continues to exist, this has led to “child poverty”, an issue which is exceedingly important since Germans believe that whatever the child is going through right now will affect his/her welfare when he/she grows up (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ). Explaining further, if the child undergoes financial crisis right now then surely his or her health will also be negatively impacted, which may also consequently affect his or her education, which in turn may determine how much he or she will be earning (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ).

In addition to the aforementioned, there won’t be any increase in salaries for employees for a long time because of the broadening gap between the rich and poor (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ). This will of course also hamper the improvement of their lives (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ). They would not be able to meet their needs and therefore would experience the “domino effect” on them (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ).

A perfect example for this situation is when parents do not get increases with their wages and the needs (including food, shelter, education, etc) continue to grow, it will be harder to attain these, which in turn will bring in more negative effects like sicknesses, illiteracy, unemployment, etc (Deutsche Welle, 2008, n. p. ).
