In all the previous papers I wrote, I mentioned that the moral philosophy of applied ethics would be the best for the business to operate well and to operate in an ethical manner. My opinion in this situation however, varies. Talking about pay a tip at a restaurant to secure a better table at a restaurant, I believe is entirely ethical.
The reason why I am supporting this fact is that you can avail the advantage of a better table only by paying a tip. It is not therefore any kind of cheating or something that is wrong or unethical and this is because only those who are paying the tip can avail this opportunity. If you pay for the table you get it so there is nothing wrong in it and same goes in the case of a business but with a little variation. (Parry, 2003).
The main motive of a person to set up a business or an investor to invest in a business is to make high profits and this is what is their top most priority while taking care that they are being ethical and are following the moral philosophies. Offering a bribe in a business to secure

The competition in the market, today in this century is very tough and it’s like a Herculean task to take the business to the top. Therefore, the business cannot be fully ethical at all times and this means that offering a bribe to secure a contract is perfectly fine.
However, once the business gets the contract, it should be ethical in its operations and must fulfill the contract in an ethical manner taking care that they are following the moral philosophy of applied ethics. (Scott, 1998).
