Managers In the work place are there to do multiple Jobs on behalf of their boss including; making sure employees understand the companies goals, monitoring work performance and making decisions of placement for employees, and last to be a leader and good example for employees to follow. Better management will lead to better product/service and greater return on revenue for companies. The essential elements of good management are targets, incentives and monitoring. Targets help employees monitor their own success in the everyday Job.
For example an employee working at a concession stand might receive a target of selling 10 large popcorn a day by upsetting to customers. Those who reach this target will usually receive some sort of commission. This Is called an incentive. Incentives are rewards that show employees that the company is grateful for their efforts and willing to do more then Just pay out salaries. In order for companies to ropey reward employees and deal with underperforming employees managers must first recognize who is who.
This is don’t by “Monitoring”. By collecting data and analyzing what works best and what may not work so well; the company can continue to improve. Although there it is proven in this study
