            On the case of Mark, considering his background and previous engagement, he can be said to be virtuous on the account of being helpful and generous as he devotes time, efforts, and money on helping homeless projects. However, the result of the issue he is involved with particularly the accident that harmed a young boy put in question the integrity of his virtue. Considering the factors and event prior to the said issue, one can argue that the scenario is indeed an unfortunate accident caused by unexpected consequences and lack of knowledge. The influence of intoxication plays an important role, which must also be evaluated. On this aspect, Mark indeed acknowledged the possible consequence of drinking the said alcoholic drink thus, he induce afterwards his allergy medication to counteract the said result. In addition, it must also be noted that Mark only accepted a single serving of the drink only for the purpose of socialization and not on the agenda of being intoxicated. However, there are also results which he did not expect such as the drowsiness caused by the medication and its incompatibility with alcohol. As such, these unexpected consequences have significantly affected the subject’s logical ability and critical judgment contributing to the issue of the accident. In addition, the encounter with the truck and the unexpected positioning of the involved parties and the victim has resulted to the detrimental nature of the accident. Based on these factors, the accident is indeed caused by unexpected event in the environment of the involved subject and not because of the lack of virtue of the involved subject.

            In the actual social environment, several factors and issues manifest are indeed beyond the control and awareness of the people thus, resulting to unexpected consequences and accidents. Involvement in these circumstances does not reflect the lack or inadequacies in the virtues and morals of the involved person but only their partly misjudgment and negligence contributing to the issue. Indeed, virtue and moral are products only of personal decision of the person, which is developed through regular practice and application. As such, involvement on certain unexpected issues does not generally mean that the person lacks moral judgment and virtue but must only be concluded based on the critical analysis of the factors and element prior and relevant to the manifestation of the event.
