Employees must be able to understand what the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the organization are and how they can contribute to furthering these measures of organizational effectiveness. This is an issue that will strongly affect the level of employee motivation. In a situation where the employees are left wondering how their activities fit into a larger picture, they will not be motivated to improve the level of their efficiency and effectiveness.
