There are a number of things that are similar with the US Government and the Canadian Government. As true as this can be both countries have their differences. Canada is governed by a constitutional monarchy and a federal of parliamentary government with democratic traditions that were adapted or derived from or by the British parliament, only that Canada has evolved from it through the years. However on the other hand, the US is governed by the Federal Government that follows the US constitution.
The Government has three branches of governance: Legislative, Executive and the Judicial. Each branch has their own authority to decide independently. In the case of legislative, both Canada and the US are bicameral, the “House of Common” and an appointed Senate for Canada and the “House of Representatives” and the Senate for the US. Let’s point out the differences of the US and Canadian government.
