One good impact of globalization is that poorer countries would have access to information regarding the strategies that rich countries followed in their path to industrialization and progress. This can then help poor countries develop a culture that gives primacy to economic development.
Globalization presents a boon and a bane for culture. There are several issues that have to be dealt with. For one, traditional and indigenous cultures are in danger of subjugation from the dominant popular culture. Globalization brings with it the process of homogenization of cultures all over the world. Diversity is a good thing as it also promotes different views and allows other cultures to be influenced positively. Such diversity may be endangered as a result of globalization.

Globalization, however, will also help in elevating important cultural issues to the consciousness of the world. In this way, more people and countries will be more aware of cultural matters from other countries.
