The finance department, on the other hand, will take as a goal that the company reaches a growth rate of 5% to 10% net profit. This can be pulled off by rightfully giving funds for the company’s various marketing activities that will result to a more vibrant sales growth. Lastly, the Human Resource department will commit the personnel of the company to a steady and continuous training, especially on customer management efforts.

The department has to exert creative effort wherein the rank and file employees can have the necessary skills and knowledge in customer satisfaction endeavor. The department can hold regular team building programs for the employees so that a unified goal for the progress of the firm can be obtained. Moreover, the Human Resource Department will have to standardize its hiring methods and strategies. This is true since the advent of 21st Century called for a new ways of how to recruit and hire people as employees (Wendower, 2006).

A new outlook of picking new employees should be the main goal of the department. The new territories where Wal-Mart Store will expand and apply its strategy will need the help of new associates that will deliver to the expectation and the needs of these new customers. Given the fact that Wal-Mart Store will penetrate the international market and has to deal with countries with respectable business laws, the ethical issues that is foreseen by which the company will have to deal with is corruption.

It is largely known information that there are levels of corruption that exist in different countries around the world for a multi-national firm to confront with. Wal-Mart to be able to penetrate these countries’ retail market has to confront this issue. Basically, this issue specifically deals with bribery like giving ‘grease’ money to fast-tract the paper works and bureaucracy that comes along in investing in other countries. Besides this aforementioned issue, there is no ethical issue that this strategy raises for the company to answer and worry about.

Evaluation and Control The monitoring of this project will be the responsibility of the board of directors of the company. The board will evaluate in a regular basis the development and progress of this strategy.
