Fear or Opportunity: What Motivates Employees

Does your company have frequent employee turnovers? Or your employees stay for longer? In this regard, a number of questions should be considered during the creation of different motivational plans and procedures for the employees. either private or public sector falls in to one of these categories. Motivating employees by introducing a culture in the employees of expectancy of reward has numerous advantages. When optimistic to perform well, based on the opportunity to move on or receive gratitude and financial reward, employee develops allegiance and special dedication to their work.

The core interest of every individual is to take make his employees to think themselves as the most important part of the company’s success. This goal can be achieved only by motivating employees in an optimistic way. If it is acknowledged that the job well done will be rewarded than all the staff will work mutually as a team. Motivating employees by fear has few advantages, although to be reasonable, a few companies behave better and attain a level of achievement by doing so.

Provision of infringement and financial remunerations to a very limited number of successful employees by the companies, sometimes, results in the provision of fear to the employees that have not been able to provide effective work. These employees play the role of a role model for the other employees in the companies, and a sense of fear is provided by the employers to the employees, in terms of demotion due to non-congregation of the role models of the company. In the result, teamwork is often lacked in these types of companies, and motivation is not continued.
