To accomplish our mission we had small teams of typically three people attached to and collocated with Army forces across Afghanistan. Additionally we established and maintained a network of automated sensors to collect weather data at locations where we didn’t have weather people. On the Army side was the leadership from one of the 101 SST Airborne Division’s Brigade Combat Teams and the leadership from the Army aviation battalion collocated to support the Brigade In conducting operations.
