The HARM team needs to manage the human resource department, stay in direct contact with the executive team, and have effective team relations. From technology to diversity the human resource team has a list of items that need to be maintained for the organization.

Understanding people and appreciating diversity will help develop teamwork and work communication. HARM teams realize that technology has advanced over the years and can assist with supporting employees and reaching new areas and markets of business. For example the HARM team should be aware of cultural environments and the necessary measures needed to succeed internationally. Researching other countries morals, values, and business practices while ensuring that the proper employees with proper training are representing the company.

Another role that HARM teams play is looking out for the employee and the company is paying close attention to both ethics as well as employee rights. Finding the balance and maintaining the responsibility between employees and employers is what the HARM team is meant to do. Human resources management has always been about people or the employees, which in turn will affect the customers. Although the Job duties have changed and expanded over the year’s people will always be the primary focus.
