The usual set-up in an organization is having a number of members, officers in charge and the goal of the organization. However, given that every person though having the same careers and goals in life, also have different approaches in taking things. This is the root of most organizational problems. There is less participation of members in organizational affairs and decision making. But having an efficient leader who can encourage people to talk their minds may solve the problem.

Also, other activities such as fun games, holiday parties, team building seminars and incentives can add motivation to members to get involve in the operations of the organization.
The leaders should also remind their members in a nice way that the whole organization cannot be functioning to its highest efficiency if there is no unity. In addition to that, any conflicts that may arise should be discussed and be resolved with all politeness and interest. However, this involvement has its pros and cons. The member’s ideas if taken for granted or not considered can do the opposite – discourage involvement. Taking their suggestions should be taken carefully.
If the leaders show their appreciation then the organization’s operations can be performed in the most efficient way. Also, too much favor for the members may lead to a more demand that if not accepted by the leaders may cause conflict. In addition to that, members can abuse the privilege given to them.
