believed that if the employer uses emotional intelligence towards their employees that the employee’s performance will be better. This is stated by Broader and Greaves (2009) findings that 58 per cent of the performance “across- the-board” In business Is shown by emotional Intelligence (cited by Ingram and congeal, 2012). As well as the employees benefiting and being more comfortable In an environment where their leaders are emotional intelligent, it will also benefit the employers.

As stated by Ingram and Cinema, (2012) it is also said that emotionally intelligent leaders are one of the most successful leaders; this is because individuals in the workplace prefer a culture where support and recognition are promoted, therefore encouraging the motivation of others. In the twenty-first century people have changed the way of thinking and the way they work. As shown by George, 2012 the employees of today’s world do not answer to “hierarchical leadership”.

Leaders who have the ability to know when to use emotions and when not to use them will eve an advantage within the organization and the outside as well in comparison to the leaders that do not have that capability. (Ingram and Cinema, 2012). Hicks and Deeds (2008) also stated that leaders that ere effective have a high level of emotional success they have in life. In the workplace there are always different issues with employees, or even issues which arise from the economy.

There were some tests carried out by the U. S. Census Bureau, 2007 which showed that 67% of Chief executives of “Hardwood lumber mill” would use bureaucratic management when it came to As stated above the chief executives of the organizations are the ones that are more likely to use this leadership style. In successful organizations we also have the authoritarian leadership style. In the est. done by the U. S. Ensues Bureau, 2007 it shows that 50% of Corporate Coos and 50% of sole proprietors will use authoritarian leadership when planning and 57% of chef executives and 100% of sole proprietors will use the same style of leadership when organizing. (Cited by Trash, K, Rice, R, Anchors, S, & Oilmen, R, 2009). By these studies we can see that sole proprietors are the ones that are more likely to use this style of leadership to manage their business, even if not used in all aspects of their business management they will still use it when it comes to organizing things within the organization.

In conclusion emotional Intelligence is important for business growth; and it is probably going to be more and more important over time but it is still not essential to have a successful business. As discussed above emotionally intelligent leaders do lead successful businesses but also do autocratic leaders, bureaucratic leaders and authoritarian leaders. Some of the styles mentioned previously might not be as important a other but will still be used when having a successful business. Emotional intelligence is an important part of leadership but it is not essential to have a successful business.
