Bureaucratic managers dictate to others the decisions made by corporate management or higher authorities in an autocratic way as stated by Trash, K, Rice, R, Anchors, S, & Oilmen, R,(2009)) and also the authoritarian leadership which as stated by Trash, K, Rice, R, Anchors, S, & Oilmen, R,(2009) Is the leader that will make all of the decisions but will still get other managers Input when making the final decision.

As stated by Ingram and Cinema, (2012) it is also said that emotionally intelligent leaders are one of the most successful leaders; this is because individuals in the workplace prefer a culture where support and recognition are promoted, therefore encouraging the motivation of others. Leaders who have the ability to know when to use emotions and when not to use them will eve an advantage within the organization and the outside as well in comparison to the leaders that do not have that capability. (Ingram and Cinema, 2012). Hicks and Deeds (2008) also stated that leaders that ere effective have a high level of emotional success they have in life. In the workplace there are always different issues with employees, or even issues which arise from the economy.

By these studies we can see that sole proprietors are the ones that are more likely to use this style of leadership to manage their business, even if not used in all aspects of their business management they will still use it when it comes to organizing things within the organization.
In conclusion emotional Intelligence is important for business growth; and it is probably going to be more and more important over time but it is still not essential to have a successful business. As discussed above emotionally intelligent leaders do lead successful businesses but also do autocratic leaders, bureaucratic leaders and authoritarian leaders. Some of the styles mentioned previously might not be as important a other but will still be used when having a successful business. Emotional intelligence is an important part of leadership but it is not essential to have a successful business.
