Foreign key

Integration

Forward Integration

Data Dictionary

Structured Query Language (SQL)
First commercial language for accessing data in relational databases, uses series of predefined commands to define data to be pulled out.
Query By Example (QBE)
Uses a graphical user interface that allows users to write queries by creating example tables on the screen.
Data Warehouse
A logical collection of information – gathered from many different operational databases – that supports business analysis activities and decision-making tasks
Data Mining
Process of analyzing data to extract information not offered by the raw data alone.
Data Mining Tools
use variety of techniques to find patterns and relationships in large volumes of information. EX. Classifications, Estimation, Affinity grouping and clustering.
