The concluding stage is that of old soldier and it occurs after gaining more experience hence the expectations of accomplishment of the officer and advancement is not met. This stage is rather a stage of cynicism and depression.

This stages clearly shows the cop identities and they reflect the organizationally-induced transformations that resulted right from qualitatively different exposure to the exigencies as well as experiences connected with the responsibility of the police officer (Michael 1996). Having a negative approach toward persons displays itself in very negative responses to people. Old soldiers are naturally vulgar and abrupt while dealing with the general public.
