The success lies in playing key roles as a general manager for a construction company include, coordinating and monitoring all the activities of the departments, namely workshop, store, quality surveying department, and the construction works of various departments to ensure effective management.

Sum of accomplishments I have the personal attributes like the right way to behave, think and feel to accomplish the task. I can perform well for the assigned task with my qualities like strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making, systems thinking, performance management and accountability, inspiring the shared vision, managing the conflict, building and sustaining team work, leading change, improving the quality and productivity, emotional intelligence, innovation and creativity, developing trust and dealing with ambiguity are important.

Measures of success I have the requisties of a successful general manager that include building the personal and professional capability of the work force,including the ethical concerns while measuring the performance of the staff. I Support the staff to participate in the decision-making process and manage the confidence of the customer. I create a friendly work environment, implement policies and programs that positively affect recruitment and retention and develop and implement incentive and appraisal systems that reflect vision and purpose of the company.
The above qualities are responsible to measure my success. My measures to success are the number undertaken job projects that are successful, increase in the growth of the revenue to the company, more number of clients and coverage and less number of complaints from the clients. Summary In this era of globalization, value based leadership is highly effective given the organizations environment.
Skills of a leader should be such that, they create a value-based environment that promotes the interests of the followers in attaining a common goal.
