Activities that come along the critical path affect the finish time, means that these activities cannot be delayed without a change in the finishing time of the project. Critical path is used through CPM. This approach is used to estimate the longest time to complete a specific project & the shortest time or time with minimum wastage to complete a project. It’s a pictorial representation that shows dependency of tasks on other activities.
