The medical world stands to benefit a lot from the use of UMPC’s since for a long time, the medical industry has faced the challenge of data storage and data mobility. For example for a nurse to access information on a certain they have to access the information stored in the medical records at the reception and some of the information cannot be carried around due to mobility challenges. Both VIA and Intel Processors are specially made to suit the use of UMPC’s but there are other studies to incorporate other forms of Processors. UMPC’s are also not limited to webcams, memory card readers, and stereo speakers to mention a few.
